Somerset International Youth Choral Festival
in historic Wells Cathedral
July 7 - 11, 2008
a choral festival for both Treble and Mixed Youth Voices

Music Celebrations International is pleased to announce the Somerset International Youth Choral Festival in Wells Cathedral, July 7 - 11, 2008. The rehearsals and festival performance will take place in Wells Cathedral, which has maintained a choral tradition virtually unbroken for over 800 years.

The little city of Wells lies near Bath and Bristol in south-western England, and its cathedral is one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the country. Accommodation for the festival is in nearby university housing.

Youth choirs (both Treble and SATB voices) will be selected and invited based upon recommendation and/or audition tape. The cathedral's size limits the number of voices to no more than 300 singers.
