Music Celebrations International is pleased to announce the Haydn Orchestra Festival – North America’s salute to one of the most influential figures in Classical Music. This unique event will take place in the main Concert Hall of Washington, D.C.'s John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Eight orchestras from across North America will be specially selected to perform a stand-alone, featured concert in this historic performance venue to commemorate the passing of the "Father of the Symphony" - Papa Haydn!
To Mozart he was a fatherly friend, Beethoven was his most famous student. Joseph Haydn was a very beloved person and esteemed by his contemporaries. Memorials throughout Austria (and the world) pay tribute to his life’s works and contributions.
