The City of Dayton, Ohio plays host to significant industrial, aerospace, technological, and engineering research activity and is known for the many technical innovations and inventions
developed there. The city was the home of the Wright brothers, poet Paul Laurence Dunbar, and
entrepreneur John H. Patterson. Also, the Dayton Accords, a peace agreement between the
parties to the hostilities of the conflict in Bosnia and the former Yugoslavia, was negotiated at
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton.

The 2,300-seat Benjamin and Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center represents yet another jewel in the crown of our nation's Performing Arts Centers. The Schuster Center is a world-class facility for the best in local, national and international performing artists. The Dayton Opera and the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra call the Schuster Center home, and it also showcases the latest Broadway blockbusters. Additionally, a variety of local performing arts treasures, such as the Dayton Ballet, will also make use of the facilities.
