Music Celebrations Presents
Beijing International Women’s Choral Festival
Beijing, China
July 7 – 10, 2010

Beijing Concert Hall Music Celebrations is pleased to present the Beijing International Women’s Choral Festival, July 7 - 10, 2010. The festival will take place in Beijing, People’s Republic of China, with the finale performance to take place in Beijing’s renowned Beijing Concert Hall.

The festival will feature auditioned and recommended choirs from North America combining with the best choirs from Beijing in a spectacular finale performance. The concert will be performed in conjunction with the All-China National Choir Directors Association Conference and will serve to further establish the classical choral tradition in China as well as providing unique cultural exchange opportunities for both the American and Chinese female singers.

During the festival, each choir will have the opportunity to be featured in stand-alone performances, and will also rehearse, perform, possibly take part in workshops, and interact with outstanding Chinese choirs from the All-China National Choral Directors Association. Chinese and North American choirs will then combine in a grand finale performance to perform works from both continents.
