Craig ZamerCraig Zamer, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Music at Tennessee Tech University and Director of Choral Activities is the conductor of the TTU Chorale, Concert Choir, and the Cookeville Mastersingers, a large ensemble drawn from the TTU student body and the community. In addition he teaches undergraduate courses in choral conducting, choral literature, secondary choral methods and student teacher supervision.

Dr. Zamer received his Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Vocal Performance and Music Education from Virginia Tech University, Blacksburg, Virginia. He received his Masters in Music Education and his Doctor of Philosophy in Music Education and Choral Conducting from The Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida. Prior to his position at Tennessee Tech, Dr. Zamer taught high school choral music at Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn, Virginia. Dr. Zamer has been an invited clinician, conductor and adjudicator in northern Florida, Colorado, Tennessee, and Virginia. He was fortunate enough to conduct at the exhibitor's concert for the 2007 American Choral Directors Association's National Convention in Miami, Florida. He has also conducted abroad at the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing, China, the Yanshan University in Qinghuandao, and Tianjin University in Tianjin.

Dr. Zamer lives with his wife Katy, daughter Lorin, and son Andrew.
