Each participating ensemble will also take part in a clinic with Col. Arnald D. Gabriel.

The chorus will be anchored by Eau Claire's finest professional choral ensemble, The Master Singers, and the performance will also include Forrest compositions Lead, Kindly Light and St. Patrick's Hymn.

Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of "D-Day," The Battle of Normandy


The D-Day 70 Memorial Wind Band will be a highlight of the D-Day 70 Memorial Concert at Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial on June 6, 2014. Wind bands and individual band performers from across the United States are invited to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Conducted by Colonel Arnald D. Gabriel —Conductor Emeritus of the United States Air Force Band, and member of the United States Army's 29th Infantry Division that fought in the Battle of Normandy — the mass band will rehearse in Paris for several days, as well as present a concert, in advance of the June 6 performance in Normandy.

Music Celebrations International is pleased to present the sixth-annual Windy City Youth Choral Festival. Treble youth choirs are invited to participate, and will join to sing both as individual choirs as well as en masse in one of America's great concert halls - Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center, home of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Dr. Z. Randall Stroope will serve as Artistic Director, and will conduct the finale concert at Orchestra Hall.

The festival chorus will feature mature SATB singers. Rehearsals and performances will take place under the baton of maestro Z. Randall Stroope.

Music Celebrations International is pleased to present this classic event in Mozart's City - Salzburg. This spectacular four-day festival will feature a large chorus consisting of mixed voice choirs from across North America. Under the direction of Alan Heatherington, Music Director of the Chicago Master Singers, the festival chorus will perform outstanding works by two preeminent British composers - Requiem, by John Rutter, and Psalm 148, by Gustav Holst. János Czifra, Domkapellmeister of the Dom, will conduct Mozart's Mass in C Major, Coronation, KV 317, accompanied by the Salzburger Domorchester.

Corvallis, Oregon, the home of Oregon State University, is the site of the Heart of the Valley Children's Choir 30th Anniversary Festival. Children's choirs, including treble and SATB singers, are invited to participate in workshops, individual choir performances, and a combined finale performance in the Austin Auditorium of the LaSells Stewart Center on the beautiful campus of Oregon State University. This festival is sponsored by the Heart of the Valley Children's Choir and Music Celebrations International. Paul Caldwell (Artistic Director of the Youth Choral Theater of Chicago), and Sean Ivory (Artistic Director of the Grand Rapids Symphony Youth Chorus) will serve as the Festival Artistic Directors.

Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of "D-Day," The Battle of Normandy


Music Celebrations International is pleased to present the second-annual PARIS CHORAL FESTIVAL, to take place June 30 - July 5, 2014. Under the artistic direction of Dr. William Skoog, this festival will bring American mixed voice choirs to Paris to sing en masse in celebration of the centuries-old Franco-American friendship.

Featuring Gabriel Fauré's remarkable Requiem in the very church where the work was premiered, this festival is being presented in honor of the 70th anniversary of The Battle of Normandy and the Allied Invasion of France in World War II. The festival will feature patriotic works to honor the occasion, culminating in a grand musical commemoration for the heroes that fought for freedom during the world's greatest invasion.

Following the finale performance, choirs will journey to nearby Normandy for an Independence Day choral remembrance and wreath-laying at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial - site of the June 6th, 1944 Allied Invasion.

The American Federation Pueri Cantores has chosen Music Celebrations International to be the official travel provider for this momentous event.

This will be a thrilling opportunity to meet and learn with choral counterparts in China, and to build a musical bridge across cultures.
