Under the direction of Daniel Wesley, the Lexington Christian Academy Chamber Choir embarked on a customized, nine-day tour as part of the American Celebration of Music in Austria and the Czech Republic. Read what director, Daniel Wesley, had to say about his experience:
“Our trip to Austria and the Czech Republic was remarkable! From packed concerts in incredible venues to meaningful collaborations, my students’ musical experience was truly transformative. The trip also gave my students a window into another world full of history, culture, and diversity. It brought the pages of our textbooks and musical literature to life as we strolled through and sang in our temporary classroom.
Working with Music Celebrations International allowed me and my ensemble to focus on those important things. While MCI dealt with every detail with great care and flexibility, I was able to ensure that my students were actively learning, experiencing new things, and using their new knowledge to inform their music making. I have taken dozens of tours with other companies throughout my career, but will only use MCI in the future. The planning was almost effortless, the attention to fine details was unparalleled, and the team, both at home and in Europe, were incredible.”
