"The Lincoln Youth Symphony traveled to Austria on a performance tour in the spring of 2005. We visited Vienna, Graz, Salzburg, and Innsbruck during our tour. From our arrival in Vienna to our departure, the trip was well planned with a good balance between structured group activities and unstructured time to explore each town. Our tour manager in Austria also did a great job of suggesting places to visit that were not originally on the itinerary, but ended up being some of the highlights of the trip…Our performance in the Orangerie in Schonnbrun Palace was inspiring - getting to perform in front of an enthusiastic audience of 450 people was a special treat. The Alabama Boychoir and Girls Chorus spent a week touring Germany and Austria. Undoubtedly, it will be a lifelong memory for them, largely due to the management of Music Celebrations.
